Governance & Management:
BEDCO is governed by its constitution that conforms to the national and international legal requirements of non-governmental private company as well as fully respects the code of conduct of Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
The General Meeting is the supreme decision making authority of the initiatives and provides resolutions on the general policy, planning and implementation strategies of the Initiatives. The general gathering Meeting approves the constitution and elects the Managing Director of Company to hold office for four years’ term.
The Board of Departments comprises of five (5+1) members with based gender balance system as minimum of two female elected by the general meeting for four (4) years term of the office but eligible for unlimited reelection. The board of Departments is responsible to provide the overall allocated leadership Departments of the company to follow rules and regulations of the BEDCO.
Regular BEDCO activities can be made monitoring and evaluation of the accurate responsibilities not needed action will be promptly investigated. So that appropriate action is taken to prevent from any mistakes by field duties in generally. BEDCO have a natural attraction conduct as in every assigned staff will be assuring that they can regularly complete all assigned task.
The corporate and responsible Managing director is Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Iman, in charge of activities to the all company movements who is answerable person for a daily responsible for the ordering, development, co-ordination, monitoring, supervision and maintenance of the responsible company system, ensuring all personnel are fully supported with guidance mandated job, training equipment, research activities, documentations, inspections and audit covering all the day to day running duties. New energy creation, Environmental protection, safety for Indian Ocean, Red-Sea, marine ecosystem and welfare matters. He has the authority to stop any unplanned activity, and committed for his continuation on duty and responsibility of the BEDCO practices that jeopardize the safety of the personnel.
The head of BEDCO secretariat is in charge of implementing and supplying all needed documents and guidelines from BEDCO’s Managing Director and making accurate records. He/she is in charge of reviewing the policy once a year as well as employing the necessary staff for BEDCO and its related projects. The secretariat will inform all head of sections equally needed activities and new information to be necessary fulfillment the responsibility upcoming future.
Lead the suitable mission in establishing performance measures, collecting and analyzing performance information, planning and managing evaluations and assisting the Mission management in using the performance information for decision-making and resource allocation. Advise Assistance to BEDCO Managing Director and objective departments with Senior Management in designing and planning for evaluations, special studies and assessments.
Coordinate the creation and review of the program to provide adequate financial resources for evaluations, special field studies and accurate assessments. Making performance monitoring plan including assessing the validity of the information and indicators that contribute and to select data collection methods for adequate monitoring and evaluation of implementing partners’ performance of the program as a whole (these methods may include field visits, quarterly reports, specialized surveys and other sources of information.
Coordinate the regular review of progress towards achieving assistance objectives/development objectives by senior management through program reviews and processes. Seeking ways to streamline the process and increase efficiency in gathering and using performance information. Finding different manner to increase transparency of BEDCO’s system of reviewing results and use of performance information.

Regarding guidelines and results from antipollution convention by International Maritime Organization (IMO). The International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships. To follow and making adaptation for all international related conventions and protocols illustrated prevention system for Marine pollution and harmful system.
Finance:
Maintain existing financial systems including petty cash, expenses, solving financial claims in the company, seeking collection income & expenditure records, process all payments through cash flow, monthly bank and work deeply with Managing Director and other high level responsibilities such as departments, sections and respectively.
Provide salaries and allowance to the managerial teams and to improve existing systems to reflect bigger staff team to prevent delay labor rights with full monthly financial report. Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and assist with project financial related work as required.
Human Resources (HR)
BEDCO, HR team to be dedicating and creating a positive work environment and aligning human development with our organizational goals.

Identifying training needs and fostering continuous professional growth inside and outside of BEDCO.

Performance management and conducting performance appraisals and providing support for employee development and so on.
Office Management:
First have an overall day to day office management and point of contact for MG and five+1 different departments including answering telephone, screen and direct calls, take and relay messages, deal with queries and provide information about managerial teams and individual bodies. Organize, maintain and tidy the office area and equipment. Be proactive in finding more efficient ways of working through use of new tools or procedures.
Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of project maintaining a diary system for all staff either manually or electronically. General administrative support including preparing letters and documents, receive and sort mail and deliveries, schedule appointments. Organize meetings for the staff team and also the Management Committee. Help to support occasional project and assist with project related administrative work as required
delegated person for fishery development is responsible for the efficient working of his/her department, shall He or she shall formulate various schemes for development and Management of marine fisheries in Indian Ocean and Red Sea and other needed fresh water fishing for Somali two different rivers, dams, lakes and reservoirs. Responsible for fisheries re-appropriation proposals in consolidated form BEDCO to related under contract agencies requires such as the Federal Government of Somalia, private organizations and international donors.
He/she will be reporting & returning to the BEDCO, monthly, quarterly, yearly as required by its responsibility and allocated job-description from time to time in respect of the its labor assistants shall be submitted by him or under his authority by any officer to whom he shall delegate the powers on this behalf. He shall hold monthly/ quarterly review meetings with the controlling officers of the Department for the proper implementation of schemes. He shall exercise all the powers delegated to him by the BEDCO from time to time and shall be directly answerable to the Managing Director of the BEDCO.
The auditor is responsible for timely execution of risk-based internal audit in accordance with the annual audit plan, as well as assisting with other audit matters in needed possible related projects. Conducting risk assessment of signed managerial departments or functional area establish required timelines and establishing risk-based audit programs. Determine scope of review in conjunction with other related audit and Director General of the Company. Reviewing the suitability of internal control design, conduct audit testing of specified area and identify reportable issue and dimension of risk. Determine compliance with policies and procedures. Verbally communicate findings to Director General of BEDCO with other senior managerial and draft comprehensive with complete report of the audit area.
